1990s — Building a Family
Our family put down roots in Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do — a vibrant city just outside Seoul. We built our home here and raised our children in a close-knit community surrounded by nature and Korean tradition.
2010s — Opening Our Doors
Eunjin began welcoming international students into our home, combining her passion for teaching Korean with the warmth of family life. What started as a small idea quickly became a calling.
Growing Our Mission
From a few guests to a fully developed program, our mission expanded. We added structured Korean language classes, travel guidance, and support services to help every visitor thrive in Korea.
Today — Family in Korea
With over 10 years of experience and guests from 20+ countries, Family in Korea has become a trusted name in cultural homestay and Korean language education. Our family continues to grow — one student at a time.

Eunjin
Licensed Korean language instructor and program director. Eunjin manages all homestay placements, language classes, and student support with professional care and a genuine love for cross-cultural connection.
Mom (어머니)
The heart of our home. Our mother carries the Korean tradition of 정 (jeong) — a deep, familial bond that turns every guest into family. She prepares home-cooked Korean cuisine and creates a warm, nurturing environment.
Hangseo
Retired police officer with decades of public service. Hangseo ensures the safety and security of every guest, handles airport pickups, and provides peace of mind to families trusting us with their loved ones.
